A sparkling day at Barkway Market
Serving our premuim English Sparkling Wines.
We were thrilled to take part in the local Barkway Market on Saturday 10th May, proudly hosting our own stand and pouring glasses of our English Sparkling Wines for visitors to taste.
With the sun shining, our rosé reserve Shambolic proved a particular favourite—perfectly refreshing for the warm spring day. Guests also enjoyed our elegant Classic Cuvée Shastye, while those with a keen palate gravitated toward the refined Nathaniel Blancs de Blancs. All our wines are named after our best bloodstock at the Stud, our renowned Classic-producing sire Nathaniel, and notable broodmares Shastye and Shambolic.
Over 250 glasses were served throughout the day, each presented in a beautiful Newsells Park branded crystal tulip flute—an instant hit with visitors as they explored the rest of the market. Our raffle added an extra fizz of excitement, with the grand prize offering one year of complimentary annual membership. Several visitors also signed up for membership on the day!
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by—your enthusiasm and support made it a truly memorable event. We’re already looking forward to next year’s market and sharing more of what makes Newsells Park Wines so special.
