An exciting year ahead of new experiences
2026 may have begun cold and damp, but Newsells Park has already welcomed its first foal of the year, a timely reminder of the promise that Spring brings.
We are looking forward to a year of unique experiences for its Wine Club Members, building on the success of events introduced last year.
The year kicks off with the new Gallops Experience in Newmarket on 25 February. Members will have the chance to join Racing Manager Gary Coffey on the famous Newmarket gallops to watch Newsells Park Stud’s racehorses in training. The morning also includes a visit to the yard of a renowned trainer offering a fascinating insight into the daily routines of training elite racehorses. Guests will finish the morning with lunch at a local pub.
On 16 April, the Spring Stud Tour and Drinks will be held again. A popular event last year, the day offers Members the opportunity to explore the stud and sample its English sparkling wines. Visitors will learn about daily stud life and meet mares, foals, and stallions. The tour continues in the vineyard, where experts will share insights into vine care, before returning to the Manor for canapés and sparkling wine, introduced by Head Winemaker Nick Lane.
Looking ahead to May, there will be the first Golfing with Legends Day. Members will join Graham Smith-Bernal and Spurs Legends for a four-ball golf day at Hanbury Manor Golf Club. The event promises a relaxed and sociable round of golf, followed by a late lunch at the award-winning Fox & Hounds gastropub.
With a full calendar of experiences ahead, Newsells Park looks set to offer another season of unforgettable events for its Wine Club Members.
