The Gallops Experience offers Members a rare opportunity to join Graham Smith-Bernal and Racing Manager, Gary Coffey, on the famous Newmarket gallops to watch Newsells Park Stud’s racehorses in training with some of Britain’s leading trainers.
The morning may also include visits to the yards of these renowned trainers including John & Thady Gosden, William Haggas, Roger Varian and others, offering a fascinating insight into the daily routines behind training racehorses.
Following an exhilarating morning on the gallops, guests will enjoy lunch and wine at a local pub to continue discussions on our racehorses.
Exact dates, times and trainer visits will be confirmed one month ahead of each event. One Gallops Experience morning will run in each of February, March and May in 2026, welcoming up to eight members and their guests per day for this behind-the-scenes morning before the flat season fully races ahead. The cost of the experience also includes lunch.
